Saw this on reddit posted like the day after battlefront 2 went live. Seen similar posts and articles too but definitely interesting times.

The next day, an EA spokesperson posted a wishy-washy “we hear you” response — “The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different heroes” — that quickly became by far the most downvoted comment in the history of Reddit.

This part is of particular interest to me because we always get the I hear you comment.

Adding the link in the post, so that we could simply click it, would be much more convenient.

And maybe you should have named the thread something like “Reddit Fighting Microtransaction Exploitation in Video Games”.
