Romanov VS Marlon

Hello everyone!
I really liked this forum, and I decided to write here an article about the game, where I will compare two damagers.
I will be very happy to read your reviews on my content. If you appreciate it well, I can write many more such articles. Write your opinion, I will be glad to discuss with you these characters :з

Romanov VS Marlon

Marlon Romanov

1. Skillset

    1. Adrenaline Rush
Both characters have the same damage - 500% for two enemies. In addition to damage, Romanov is healing by 20% of HP, while Marlon has a buff +60% to attack for 2 turns and remove the bleeding from himself. From my personal observations, I realized that Romanov’s healing with a rush is not very noticeable, and the attack buff of Marlon will allow to hit very hard on the next turns, because besides +60% of the rush he will also have an attack buff from the specialist skill. Removing the bleeding from Marlon can be ignored, because it plays a role very rarely. Since Marlon’s rush is faster than Romanov and his post effects are better, he gets a point at this paragraph.

Romanov 0:1 Marlon

    1. Active Skill
I don’t see much sense in the active skills of Marlon, because if he gets impair, then he will remove him, but he will lose the buff to the attack from the specialist. If he has a full AP, then you can remove it with an active skill and through the command in the same turn, rush with Marlon, but then we will not be able to attack with the attack buff at the next turn.
Romanov has a good active skill, as for me. If the enemy characters have a full AP, then you can control three for a while and we will have a head start, and Romanov will heal a little and get an attack buff from specialist skill when the characters hit him under taunt. Romanov’s active skill is combined with his specialist better than Marlon’s active skill is combined with his, so Romanov gets a point at this paragraph.

Romanov 1:1 Marlon

    1. Specialist Skill
The main difference between them is that Romanov is not limited in his specialist, like Marlon. He can get +100% to attack in one turn, if all 5 enemy hits him. If this happens, then most likely he will simply die and will no longer need attacks xd
In practice, Marlon’s special seems to me more stable than Romanov’s, which depends on whether they hit him or not.

Romanov 1:2 Marlon

2. Average Damage
As I have already said, at rush the damage is the same for both, but since the rush of Marlon is faster and he have the attack buff (which is better than Romanov healing), it will rushes more often and its damage will be higher than that of Romanov. And this will allow you to more effectively kill enemy characters.

Romanov 1:3 Marlon

3. Weapon
I like the weapons of both characters. Marlon’s skill allows him to quickly accumulate AP, which increases his average damage. Romanov’s skill allows you to control the characters and farm buffs through specialist. Both characters have their skills in weapons often useful, so here I will give a point for each

Romanov 2:4 Marlon

And the winner of comparison with the advantage of two points becomes Marlon!

This is cool, can do this to other characters like decap vs decap or reviver vs reviver, in here also should look at stats and what their role is, for example, if they are a damage dealer but have lets say low attack of 1300 and another damage dealer had 2000, the higher attack damage dealer should het a point.

Also i agree, Marion and Rosie is much better, on a roll is a great skill that can be very deadly, was never a fan of berserker.

Yes you are right
In this article I did not write about stats, because both have the same damage, Romanov has low defense and high HP, and Marlon has low HP and high defense. As a result, the stats they get almost the same

I like the idea of such an article, and you have done a great job. What would make it more in depth would be to also discuss how they would fit into particular teams and the meta as a whole, otherwise they will just be being compared in a vaccume. Fantastic idea though and good detail.

Thank you very much, I will consider your advice in future articles. But how to make the selection of teams with them, if there are so many? They are damager and fit into many attack-teams. It is difficult to consider them within any one

One thing I like about Romanov. I put a bonus attack while impaired (85%) mod on him and use him against magna shields. I love when he gets impaired. When you add the bonus impaired attack to his berserker, he train wrecks magna.

I’d be up for more of these.

Do maybe 3 teams, a f2p team, a team that isnt f2p and maybe a team that you think is the best team to put together

It’s all about balance

Edit: due to a crappy connection my post was sent twice.

Great article, thanks!

I do feel that they serve different roles. Romanov is more a secondary control toon that can also function as a secondary damage dealer, Marlon does better damage but nothing else.

Complaints are fine, complaining about complaing is annoying tho

This is a great read. I like how you laid it out. It’s similar to how I think when I see characters in game. Thinking of teams they fit in just can get in the way of what a character can actually contribute imo. So again I like the lay out.

Keep it up!
