Leeks. Edible joy or inferior to rhubharb?

If The Hilltop could grow either leeks or rhubharb…which would you prefer?

You can technically do that with any plant as long as it contains some sugar. But ye rhubarb moonshine > leek vodka

I am not sure myself and probably need to try each in some capacity before i make a decision…both sound intriguing though.

Inferior to the rhubarb and it’s properties as a laxative

Living close to the Rhubarb Triangle in the UK, as it is known, means it has to be Rhubarb.

9 square miles ( not sure why a triangle is measured in square miles rather than triangular ones ) it provides the majority of the UK’s rhubarb requirements. Grown in the dark you can actually hear it creak & pop as it grows so fast. It even has many utube videos

Tell me the Leeks claim to fame to compete with this ?
