Game getting noticeably slower

So over the last couple of months, I’ve noticed the speed of the game (combat) has gotten slower. Some fights I could have won, I’m now time crunched and lose. A single round now can take 20-40 seconds depending what extra effect are being used. Is this problem me, my phone or is this everywhere?

Noticed this as well as characters grow super large again when doing actions in raids, like hitting opponent’s characters.

Since 3 updates everything gets slower in-game. Doesn’t matter what you do, there’s always some type of lag. Could be the phone, but I suppose it’s the game itself which is packed full of data files and can’t handle this all often.

Yep, it is the stupid extra effects. Look at Aarav, when you launch his rush twice in a row. The animation of the rush pops in, he kills the line. Then pauses (cig break???) rush animation pops in, then he hits the line, comes back to his place, waits 1-2 seconds and only afterwards those enemies die… add in the “effect description” like enemy stun, anemy ap drain and the like that get displayed sometimes 2 turns after the actual effect was triggered and you know the game timings are off.

The combat really did get slower and my bet would be it’s the coding of all the extra weapon/specialist/rush effects and its affiliated dice rolls that the game has to check for to resolve the battle results. They only add on, not recode the battle for optimum performance…

Me thinks u guys can do a better job than scopely’s developers :joy:

They could make something where it doesnt take time to use active skill or speed up the bleed effect/… but why care if we all keep spending :smiley: :smiley:
