Effect: If this specialist performs a critical hit on an enemy, the enemy suffers extreme bleeding that worsens every turn; +150 bleed damage per turn.

Gameplay Walkthrough

Zachary is a versatile and powerful Support character that has the ability to disrupt the enemy team with Maim, AP Drain, and Stun; as well as keeping himself and teammates uninhibited over the course of combat. Zachary is especially great on a Defense Team, and can prove to be difficult to handle for even the most dominant Attack teams:


Zachary’s 66 speed Rush comes well rounded with both disruptive effects as well as sustainability for both himself and his teammates. He deals 1000 Maim damage and applies a -20 AP drain to up to 5 enemies. This by itself can really setback your opponent, since the enemy team will have more difficulty triggering their Rush with the loss of AP, as well as prevent them from healing back to full HP (as a result of Maim). Maim’s damage also bypasses many defense effects (such as Defense and Bonus HP), making it an unmitigated nightmare for the enemy team.

Additionally, Zachary’s Rush recovers his team from all penalties, as well as restoring himself to full HP. This makes him a constant threat, since he can keep his teammates absolved of major negative status effects, but also isn’t taken down easy due to his frequent self healing.


Being able to Stun a major character on the enemy team can be key when used at the right time. Zachary’s Active Skill takes that one step further by locking down that enemy for 4 turns, and when combined with only a 3 turn cooldown, Zachary can really lockdown any enemy all on his own. A simple yet highly effective Active Skill.

Specialist Skill

With the pressure coming from Maim from his Rush, Zachary compliments that pressure with Hemorrhage. Whenever Zachary performs a critical hit, the enemy is afflicted with a debuff that deals damage each turn, as well as increases by +150 damage per turn. This ticking-time bomb adds an extra layer of pressure against the enemy team and quickly limits the amount of time the enemy has to react before being defeated.

Special Weapon

In order to better help Zachary trigger Hemorrhage, his weapon comes with +100 Crit when Zachary’s HP is more than 50%. This makes critical hits very likely to trigger early on in the battle, allowing Hemorrhage to ramp up from the start. Since Zachary’s Rush also restores him to full HP, it’s likely that Zachary will continuously be above 50% HP, allowing for the weapon effect to trigger.

When selecting a Leader to combine with Zachary, some aspects to consider:

  • Offense vs. Defense Team (e.g. - HP / DEF vs. ATK/AP Gain, etc.)
  • Team Trait Combination (e.g. - Alert + Tough, Strong + Alert, etc.)
  • Overall Strategy (e.g. - Bleed / DoT, Burst Damage, etc.)



When selecting other Specialists to combine with Zachary, some aspects to consider:

  • Defensive Effects (e.g. - Human Shield, Revive, Defense Buff, etc.)
  • Maim Damage (e.g. - Regina, Dale, Strong Rick, etc.)
  • AP Manipulation (e.g. - AP Drain Mods, Holly, Yellow Kal, etc.)

Hemo should be hemo II, starting at 200 bleed.

I mean retribution, collateral and guardian all got upgraded


Question, didn’t they nerf crit a while back so it wasn’t as effective on walkers? How does that effect this character?

It just means that you can’t reach over 100% crit chance anymore. You can still make crits every turn, just stacking tons of crit doesnt work as well anymore


Defence wise you’re going to need some seriously good support characters round him, if you can guarantee he’ll use his adrenaline rush round two then he’s well worth it.

As it stands at the minute, he’ll be dead before he can trigger his rush. So on paper it looks like a pass for me.

i love how this isnt OP but the wanderer was so he was nerfed.

Also like how all of the recomended teams above are all the latest OP prems.

i think the WoC region is a test to see if they can keep whales playing with just whales as all the FTP peeps are close to quiting because everything is being made impossible for them

ok ill giv you regina and nik are kinda free, but you could argue the effort put in to earn season tokens to buy them and then league tokens to upgrade them makes them cost quite a bit.

erika and violet arent FTP they arent in 5* token or prestige wheels and wasnt rick removed ?

Donny has only been added to the wheel today and i didnt see lori, her and dony are the only ones id class as real FTP. Altho some would argue FTP means they are in the Supply Depot

the gap is between FTP and P2P is becoming very huge


my point stands about the wanderer though, him debuffing all toons was considered way to overpowered and then toons like diego, alice etc are fair game


Zachary is OP af…


My version of free to play is they were obtained without paying. Lori was a legacy and a museum event. Rick was a legacy, violet can be obtained right now through level ups and Donny can and always has been through 4* ascendance. Erika was in many different wheels that tokens were gained through and even if we leave her labeled as premium, she is far from “latest OP”

A little bit over powered… only a little bit…


All the new premiers need to be OP otherwise what would be anyone’s incentive to pull? The constant need to upgrade is what keeps the cash flowing in.

does anybody still remember when eagle-eyed andrea was considered powerful and pretty much everybody wanted her?

just a general question, is she still ok after ascension? kind of like, poor man’s op toon?

On attack she’s definitely still viable. Wouldn’t even try and fit her in a defence team

Andrea is definitely worth ascending. While she will not have the impact like her old 5-star version did back in the day she does gives a huge ap boost to all ranged plus a 40% attack. AP boosts are well “huge” :wink:
