Gameplay Walkthrough

Holly is the first 6 star Tough Guardian II character to enter into TWD:RTS. Aside from providing her teammates Revive and Healing Over Time, her unique strength comes from her ability to dramatically influence AP generation of both teams, while also keeping herself alive:

Holly’s Rush provides some unique effects compared to other Medics in the game. Her Revive provides an initial 50% HP to the revived teammate, as well as an additional +30% healing over time to her teammates, which will cause the revived teammate to be restored to 80% upon being revived.

Additionally, Holly will fully restore her own HP when her Rush is used, as well as applying Elusive for 2 turns to her teammates. This is a powerful effect, since Elusive is a buff that prevents the enemy from generating AP either from attacking or being attacked by those buffed with Elusive. With the exception of Holly, your teammates will be empowered with this buff, making it difficult for your opponent to fight back, since there is currently no direct way to remove Elusive.

Note: Holly will not receive the Elusive or the +30% Healing Over Time effect from her own Rush. This part of the Rush only applies to her teammates (i.e. - “all other teammates”).

With the Rush providing Elusive to her team, Holly plays a mean “AP Disparity” game against the enemy team, and her Active skill certainly takes that strategy to the next level by providing +35% AP to her entire team (including herself). Given that Holly is likely to survive a barrage of attacks from the enemy (via her Rush and Special Weapon), this skill can really help turn the battle in your favor once available and empower your team to meaningfully counterattack.

Specialist Skill

Guardian II is a great Specialist Skill for any team, but with Holly being a Tough character (and the first 6 star Tough Guardian II), the amount of flexibility and utility she brings to a team really enables some additional layers to your team composition. Combine Holly with a Crit-boosting character to help her trigger Guardian II more frequently to prevent that oncoming damage for her teammates.

Special Weapon

With Holly being such a big threat (especially on a Defense Team), it’s not surprising that your opponent will want to take down Holly as quickly as possible. While her Rush can reset your opponent’s progress after the fact, the Rush plays more of a late reactionary response. However, with Holly’s Special Weapon providing the chance to gain +20% Bonus HP when being attacked, Holly is quickly able to respond to her attacker via getting that extra layer of survivability during the opponent’s turn.

[6 Star] Synergistic Characters

When selecting a Leader to combine with Holly, some aspects to consider:

  • Offense vs. Defense Team (e.g. - HP / DEF vs. ATK/AP Gain)
  • Trait Team Combination (e.g. - Fast + Tough, Alert + Tough, etc.)
  • Diversity of Rush Effects (e.g. - [Bonus HP + Defense] w/ [Elusive + HoT])

Fast + Tough

Alert + Tough

Strong + Tough

When selecting other Specialists to combine with Holly, some aspects to consider:

  • Increasing AP Disparity (e.g. - Impair, Elusive)
  • Defending Holly from Attacks (e.g. - Human Shield, Taunt)
  • Removing Healing Reduction (e.g. - Recover All Penalties, Recover Healing Reduction)
  • Active Revives (e.g. - Violet, Mackenzie)

Goodbye wars…after all those cheaters and too much OP chars…im just gonna stay at zombies kill.
If all those chars are about to give you a better place in war leaderboard with useless prizes, well, no thank you but my f2p gameplay is much more funny without war.

I think she might be a new p2w event in December

The same balance team who made that revive heal elusive rush (at 76 AP) thought wanderer was too overpowered

Can’t wait to do a ten pull with league coins

1st blue guardian 2 and it’s just some bs character that the only ones to pull her are probably the same people who buy gear.

you know thats what scamply wants, so the chances to get holly will be 0,000001% :+1:

While I do like the fact that Scopely Character design is making 6* characters out of the source material characters that were only given 2 or 3* treatment in the beginning, the flood of premiers has to stop. Content in this game suffers. So many peripheral things need to be updated to mirror current game state of these characters, yet day after day goes by with no changes. Not going to go into a list, its already on this forum somewhere, but updates are way overdue.

Sit on a few of these new characters for a bit, and make the game more current. Or just put slot machines on the screen. This is not a strategy game anymore. To say so is false advertising. This is just Magic the Gathering for the electronic age, and the cards just cost more…

Remember the days when toons actually did damage? I miss those days.

Really? More OP P2W toons? No thanks im saving my money.

My attack team trying to get through these goddamn revive/shield/timeout combos.

Hoping this is another impressive on paper sucks in actuality case…

What I love most about them is how they completely do the exact opposite of what the players want every single time yet they still make a fortune as evidenced by every top team in CRW completely decked out with these op toons.

Whales ahoy! :whale:
