Gameplay Walkthrough

Chris is a hard-hitting, multi-attack, single target, Strong, Decapitate character that increases his Rush speed over time. Combined with Chris’s weapon effect, his Rush (and ability to use often) is perfect for destroying Fast characters on a defense team:

Rush

This 85 Rush deals 3 attacks at 250% each (750% total) to one enemy, while gaining +25% AP and getting Focus for 3 turns. While initially a slower Rush, after the first use, Chris’s Rush effectively turns in a 64 Rush. Additionally, Chris will be able to have a high “up time” for Focus, allowing him a high degree of control over which target he attempts to take down (e.g. - ignoring Human Shield to attack a Revive character).

Active

Chris’s turn 2 active reduces an enemy’s Defense by 50% and increasing Chris’s attack by 50% for 2 turns. This disparity in strength helps Chris take down his target quickly and effectively, and can be used at opportune times to get an otherwise difficult Decapitate. One approach for using this active is waiting until you have Chris’s Rush available, use the active on the desired enemy, and then using the Rush for optimal effectiveness.

Specialist Skill

With a high degree of Revive characters being placed on defense teams, having Decapitate s a key skill to have available in your team (since it prevents a character from being Revived). With Chris’s kit to quickly and effectively kill targets, this skill is super helpful at taking down enemies permanently.

Special Weapon

Since Chris’s Rush causes him to attack 3 times in a row, “when attacking” weapon effects can prove to be incredibly useful. With Chris’s Violent Cleaver, Chris has the potential to generate +35% AP per hit. This means that after Chris uses his Rush, he could potentially be ready to Rush again (either in the same turn via Command) or on his next turn. This should help Chris with getting more Decapitate opportunities against his enemies.

[6 Star] Synergistic Characters

Leaders

When selecting a Leader to combine with Chris, some aspects to consider:

  • Trait Composition (e.g. - Fast + Strong [Melee], Rainbow, etc.)
  • Survivability vs. Offensive Power (e.g. - Cover Weaknesses vs. Amplifying Strength)
  • Additional AP Generation (e.g. - Leaders providing AP gain to have more consistent AP generation)

Examples

Specialists

When selecting other Specialists to combine with Chris, some aspects to consider:

  • Command (Allowing Chris to take advantage of his AP generation effects)
  • Survivability / Protection (e.g. - Guardian II, Healing, etc.)
  • Disarm (Help Chris avoid being affected by weapon effects when attacking enemies)
  • Additional Decapitates (e.g. - Wayland, Alpha, etc. to increase Decapitate chances)

Yey another ■■■■■■■ promo…what a fokin suprise…

tenor%20(12) I might quit it sooner than ever

Whether he’s OP seems a moot point to me. You needed a strong decap to tackle the two new revives that were released recently. Alas, if this is the new decap meta, time to release the original 4 into widespread use

Alpha as leader ?
Nevermind, Just realized you were just mentioning different specialist and not having a team composition based on Alpha as leader

cant have any of these whales facing teams of magna and 4 revives and having to watch them keep reviving cos they wont stay dead, lets give them a green decap to pull for.

But sir what about the FTP they have to watch a team keep reviving each other for 5 mines, Screw those peasants lol

Knox would of been a good toon to put a decap on for FTP people

Kudos to anyone who gets the reference

Would’ve been a great free toon, but instead it’s just an another annoying promo toon to pad the whales’ teams. I wonder if scopely plans to ever provide a widely available freemium counter to the shield/revive meta like this character is.

My thoughts…

Already have alpha no need for this guy.

Way to make a great green decap. Its a good thing we needed one badly. And single target damage! Wow. Focus too? Damn.

Oh wait. That’s right…you made alpha an adjacent limp noodle With low output an weak weapon and piss poor active.

Shes only good for SR. An decap is moot there.
Why do you guys do this? Decap should only ever be 1 target. This isnt some B-rated movie where silly things happen. You can’t ricochet a bullet to decap 2 heads. A chainsaw for 5 max targets?

Rework your older 6*s into proper characters. Rebalance your existing ones an future proof going forward.

The ONE only thing bad about chris is his 85ar.
That pales in comparison to alpha. I paid big money for alpha on her first promo. I was super excited to get a melee decap for my pay to win melee team. Boy that was a major upset.
3k+ attack. 410 weapon. 40% attack leader. Boosted with active…swings…An miss!

There is no Shiva alert/tough.
As far as I know. The only joke here…other then my grammar. Is scopes

Your thinking kungfu panda. This isnt a rodriguez/romero zombie flick either or army of darknes stuff.

Wouldn’t it be more appropriate for him to have Follow-Up bc of his Ap gain weapon and rush.

nailed it dude, alpha was a major disappointment, the white shiva too

Looks like a shitty marlon

RIP Chris, didn’t even get the popular “SHOW YOUR PULL” thread. lol

Lies. it just got one.
